The ceiling has gone in today. We initially thought that we'd do the drywall ourselves and then hire a company to do the taping, but upon further consideration, we realized that drywalling IS an art. What would take us a month to do, a professional company would take only a few days. So, we bit the bullet and hired a company that was referred to us. The guys are super nice, and after seeing how much work they are doing, I'm SO glad that we aren't doing this ourselves. I can't wait to see it all drywalled! I'm doing a happy dance around here. An end to this renovation is actually in sight! :)
