Living Room

Again, I'm going to play catch up on some of the renos so that furture posts don't seem so random. In our Living Room we did the following in January of 08. We tore out ALL of the floors (throughout the full main floor), tore down the ceiling, installed potlights, and took out the faux fireplace that was uggggleee.

Here is our living room "before" - this is at the very beginning of our renovations, as you can see (a) the fireplace wasn't yet removed and (b) the floors are still there. Aubrey and I had our first "dinner" on the living room floor. (We were still living in our apartment during this time).



I don't want to say this is the after shot because we're a far way away from being done in the living room in terms of decor (we're slowly getting furniture)



Couch is new, and in a beautiful herringbone neutral. The pillow fabric is from Designer Fabrics, Curtain Fabric is from Designer Fabrics, Sewing for the curtains is by Sew it Seams. Hardware for the drapery is to the trade only. (I can pass along the info upon request). The carpet is not the carpet for the room (hello postage stamp) but it's there so I can start getting an idea for the colour pallet for the room.
